DELIVERY POLICY, Gift Baskets,

• All references to "next day delivery" and "same day delivery” applies to Newcastle & Hunter Valley Region in the first instance and entails hand-delivery by an agent of Hunter Valley Hampers.
• Once we take your order, we assemble your hamper and package it for drop off to Australia Post or Courier Service by 4pm same day.  Your package will be delivered according to Australia Post or Courier delivery time frames.
• Metropolitan Delivery is, in most cases, next day to Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane.  Regional areas may take a dya or so longer.
• The package will be delivered to the address you specified.
• If the recipient is not present to sign for delivery, you authorise our agent to leave the package in a 'safe place' for discovery by the recipient.  Or we can leave a note and the recipient can pick up from the depot.
• Weekend delivery is an extra $15.  Public Holidays by arrangement.
• Please ensure all address details are up to date and correct & please supply a contact telephone number if possible. Incorrectly addressed items which require re-direction will incur a further delivery fee.
• Hunter Valley Hampers use reputable carriers to deliver our products, from time to time delays are experienced for various reasons which are totally out of our control. We cannot 100% guarantee any delivery according to the quoted delivery schedule, and cannot be responsible for unforeseen circumstances, such as weather and traffic conditions, theft or damage, or delays by our courier contractors. Sometimes deliveries may be delayed and delivered later than pre-determined time. These circumstances are out of our control and we do not accept responsibility for these unforeseen circumstances and failure to deliver on time is not a valid reason for refund or cancellation of an order.
• The postage calculator ($15) is designed to process single hamper orders only. Dsicount Delivery costs will be included in bulk order quotations as requested.
• Hunter Valley Hampers cannot accept responsibility for weather conditions. Please be mindful that hot weather, although unlikely, can have a damaging effect on fresh produce and products containing chocolate.
• Hunter Valley Hampers will always advise our customers through the website if there are changes to our prices. Occasionally we will offer special discounted delivery services.

About our Australia Wide Delivery Service

Hunter Valley Hampers delivers gifts Australia Wide through the services of Fastway Couriers.  All gifts ordered for this type of delivery are safely packaged and delivered by Fastway courier drivers who are contracted for their service.  Days we deliver for this service are Monday-Friday during business hours only.  No weekend deliveries are available for this service.  Our delivery service works business day to business day. Orders received on the weekend are dispatched on the following Monday.  All orders are dispatched from Newcastle by courier overnight to areas within NSW. Regional areas may take 1-2 days. Areas outside of NSW can take anywhere from 2-5 business days. All deliveries may take longer during peak seasons. All orders for this service must be placed by 1pm the day prior to delivery. If you urgently require next day delivery for areas outside of NSW please call or email for a quotation.

Local deliveries are mostly delivered by a friendly delivery driver employed by Hunter Valley Hampers, however, during peak seasons we may use the services of our courier also.

About Requested Delivery Dates

Hunter Valley Hampers deliver on requested delivery dates 99% of every order taken, however, sometimes like in everyday life things happen that are beyond our control. We rely on our couriers to provide prompt delivery however in some circumstances delays may occur. Hunter Valley Hampers cannot guarantee 100% same day service & requested delivery service for this reason. Should you be concerned that your gift has not arrived at the scheduled delivery time, please contact us & we will make every effort to track your gift.  Once a gift leaves our office it is in the hands of our couriers, and sometimes delays in delivery can occur.  Hunter Valley Hampers advises although we use reputable carriers to deliver our products, from time to time delays are experienced for a multiplicity of reasons which are totally out of our control. Failure to deliver on a preferred delivery date is not a valid reason for refund or cancellation of an order.

About International Deliveries

Delivering Hunter Valley Hampers Overseas is a fantastic idea! Australia Post offers a suitable and sometimes affordable overseas delivery service (depending on the country) but you must allow enough time for your hamper to arrive as sometimes it can take up to 3-4 weeks. Most other services will be in excess of $100. We recommend you purchase the hamper of your choice for delivery to the buyer (in Australia) where you can then investigate costs of sending the hamper to your desired overseas destination. If the price of sending the hamper to the overseas destination turns out too costly you can always forward the hamper onto another much loved recipient or use the products for yourself. We are currently seeking affiliates in overseas areas and will keep you up to date with this on our website.

About Refunds

Hunter Valley Hampers will only refund if you give notice within 8 hours of an order.
Refunds will not be given simply because you have changed your mind about your purchase. In the unlikely event that you feel we have not provided a service, or you feel there are discrepancies in your order in any way, we will investigate the circumstance and a refund may be issued duly. Hunter Valley Hampers does our utmost to prevent breakages in transit by safely wrapping all items and using bubble wrap where possible to ensure goods are safely packaged within each box.   Should your gift be damaged in transit please notify us immediately and return your gift to Hunter Valley Hampers  for inspection.  Your gift may be covered by insurance and may be replaced at no cost.

For Perth, Tasmania, Northern Territory, Far North Queensland, and outback Australia, we will pass on the cost of postage to the customer.

For example, delivery to Karratha, WA is approx $45.  Our Fair Go Policy means we will pass on this cost to you.
